OUT OF CHAOS, ORDER COMES

Family Constellations Facilitator Retreat
Hosted by ANZCI - with Margarete Koenning

30th Oct - 1st Nov 2026

Ōrongomai Marae, Upper Hutt, Aotearoa New Zealand

A warm welcome!

We warmly welcome you to the second Facilitators Retreat hosted by ANZCI.

Following the depth and connection experienced in our inaugural retreat, we gather again, welcoming both returning participants and those joining us for the first time into a shared field of learning, practice, and professional development.

This retreat is created for facilitators who feel the call to deepen their capacity in these changing and often uncertain times. Together, we will explore how we as practitioners can remain resourced, present, and responsive while working within complex individual and collective dynamics.

Held within a community of peers, this is a space to slow down, to listen, and to be supported both in your facilitation and in your own place within the wider field.

We look forward to welcoming you.

A Space to Expand Your Knowing

This retreat is an invitation to deepen into the next layer of your practice as a facilitator.

Designed for those already walking this path, it offers a space to refine your perception, strengthen your capacity to work within the wider field, and deepen your trust in what emerges through the work.

Together, we will explore how to stay connected to the field, how to meet complexity without overwhelm, and how to allow new order to emerge from what may first appear as chaos.

This is more than a training, it is a living relational field. One that supports not only your professional development, but your ongoing personal and systemic unfolding.

Working with Collective Strength & Resilience

In these times of increasing complexity and uncertainty, facilitators are being called to work in new ways.

This retreat will explore how we can draw on the broader collective field as a source of strength, regulation, and guidance both for ourselves and for those we work with.

Together, we will deepen into:

  • Working with collective resilience in the field

  • Practices of co-regulation when there is instability or overwhelm

  • Staying grounded and present while navigating chaotic or fast moving dynamics

  • Trusting the movement from disorder toward coherence

At the heart of this work is a simple yet profound understanding:

Out of chaos, order comes.

Rather than trying to control or resolve what arises, we learn to stay with the process and allow something deeper to emerge.

Ritual & the Wheel of Directions

Margarete will also bring the Wheel of Directions, introducing a ritual dimension to constellation work.

This offers a powerful way to:

  • Orient within the field

  • Engage the body and spatial awareness

  • Connect with cycles, direction, and deeper layers of knowing

Ritual opens a different doorway. One that supports facilitators to access and work with the field in a more embodied and expanded way.

What to Expect from the Retreat

This retreat offers a rich, experiential space for facilitators to deepen their practice within a supportive and professionally held environment.

Together, we will explore, practice, and refine our capacity to work within the wider field, while being held in a community of peers.

You can expect:

  • grounded and well held container that supports depth, safety, and professional integrity

  • Direct teaching and experiential processes with Margarete, including her work with collective resilience and the Wheel of Directions

  • Opportunities to deepen your facilitation practice, including real time exploration, feedback, and reflection

  • Exploration of co-regulation and working with the broader field, especially in times of uncertainty or intensity

  • Space to engage with the principle that out of chaos, order can emerge, and how this lives within your facilitation

  • Meaningful connection with a community of facilitators, fostering mutual support and shared learning

  • Integration across personal, professional, and systemic layers, supporting both your inner development and your work with others
