Acceptance of terms

Payments

All bookings made prior to the conference must be paid in full to guarantee registration. Once payment has been received, an email confirmation and a receipted invoice will be sent. If payment is not made at the time of booking, registration will be provisional. Bookings received less than (2) two weeks before the immersion date can only be paid by credit card. Payment must be received and processed by event date or registration may be canceled.


Early Bird Rate
In order to qualify for any "early bird" rates or discounts, booking and payment must be received before the deadline date listed in the immersion marketing material.


Cancellations: PARTICIPANT.

"Participant" is one person per ticket.


PLEASE NOTE:

The registration fee of NZ$250 are non refundable.

Cancellations made after the 1st of March 2025 are 100% non-refundable.


In the event of valid reasons, such as a medical emergency or death in your circle, that prevent you from attending, you will be eligible for a full refund of the registration fee, with a deduction of NZ$250 to cover administrative and processing costs up to 1st March 2025. Any date past 1 March 2025 will be at the discretion of ANZCI faculty and on a case by case basis.


ANZCI offer transferability for registration and or ticket. You have the option to transfer your registration/ticket to another person if you are unable to attend. Please notify us with urgency in advance to facilitate this transfer process as there is a form for both of you to fill in and email back for health and safety purposes at the event site. In the event of a fire or accident or any other such occurrence that requires a correct headcount, we have the correct people to account for at all times.


A participant register will be kept leading up to and for the duration of ANZCI 2025 and submitted into the reporting records of attendance to the administration of ANZCI Incorporated.


At any stage after any event, or intensive, or any other in person or online event held by ANZCI, and attended by you, you are entitled to request the removal of your details and as such your attendance will only be held statistically for future event planning purposes.


If a registered or ticketed participant does not give notice as outlined in this policy, and/or fails to attend the immersion, this will be treated as a cancellation without notice by the participant and no refund or credit will be issued.


Cancellation and Postponement. ANZCI:

Should ANZCI postpone an event or pivot from a live event to a virtual event, your registration will automatically roll over to the alternative event.


ANZCI may (at its sole discretion) change the format (including, without limitation, from a physical in-person Event to a virtual Event and vice versa), speakers, participants, content, venue location and program or any other aspect of the immersion at any time and for any reason, whether or not due to a Force Majeure Event (as defined below), in each case without liability.


In the event of a global lockdown or other extraordinary circumstances beyond our control, rest assured that should such circumstances arise, we will explore all available options to provide alternative arrangements or reschedule the immersion to the best of the management and external resources available. If we are unsuccessful and unable to hold the immersion either in person or online unfortunately there will be no refunds offered.


Adjustment of Registration Fees: After a participants registration is completed, ANZCI reserves the right to review the information provided by the participant and adjust the registration ticket type and fee if it is found that the information provided by the attendee has been misrepresented, false or incorrect. Any adjustment to fees will be charged directly to the payment method on file or directly sought from the participant to complete or cancel the ticketing process.


Facilitators: Views expressed by speakers are their own. ANZCI shall have no liability for advice given, or views expressed, by any facilitator at the immersion or in any material provided to attendees. ANZCI may use the facilitators name and presentation materials for promoting attendance at the immersion.

Facilitators and participants consent to the incidental use of their names and likenesses to the extent and include being photographed during immersion-related activities. These images may be used by ANZCI for promotional, educational, or archival purposes. If you would prefer not to be photographed please let our immersion staff know, and we will accommodate your request.


Immersion Anti-Harassment

ANZCI is dedicated to providing a harassment-free immersion experience for everyone, regardless of sex/gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, race, religion, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, military status, or any other class protected by law. We do not tolerate harassment of faculty of ANZCI, participants, performers, or attendees in any form. Anyone violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the immersion without a refund where applicable, at the discretion of the organizers.


Harassment includes, but is not limited to:

* Verbal comments that reinforce social structures of domination sex/gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, race, religion, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, military status, or any other class protected by law

* Sexual images

* Deliberate intimidation, stalking, or following

* Harassing photography or recording

* Sustained disruption of talks or other events

* Inappropriate physical contact

* Unwelcome sexual attention

* Advocating for, or encouraging, any of the above behavior


Enforcement

Anyone asked to stop any harassing behavior is expected to comply immediately.

As to anyone engaging in harassing behavior, event organizers retain the right to take any actions to keep the event a welcoming environment for all participants. This includes warning the offender or expulsion from the immersion, with no refund where applicable.

ANZCI may take action to redress anything designed to, or with the clear impact of, disrupting the event or making the environment hostile for any participants.

We expect everyone attending the immersion to follow these rules at all event venues and related activities.


Reporting

If someone makes you or anyone else feel unsafe or unwelcome, please report it as soon as possible. Harassment and other code of conduct violations reduce the value of our event for everyone. We want you to be happy at our event.


Loss and liability

ANZCI shall not be liable for any loss, liability or damage to personal property at any time on any site or public place for the duration of the immersion.


ANZCI reserves the sole right to use any photographs, recordings, electronic images or publicity material received by or obtained by ANZCI in the course of the event, for whatever use deemed proper by ANZCI.



Disclaimer: ANZCI may at any time, with or without giving notice, in its absolute discretion and without giving any reason, change, cancel or postpone the conference, change its venue or any of the other published particulars, or withdraw any invitation to attend. In any case, neither ANZCI nor any of its officers, employees, agents, members or representatives shall be liable for any loss, liability, damage or expense suffered or incurred by any person, nor will they return any money paid to them in connection with the conference unless they are satisfied not only that the money in question remains under their control, but also that the person who paid it has been unfairly prejudiced, about which the decision shall be in their sole and unfettered discretion and, when announced, final and conclusive.


Force Majeure: ANZCI shall not be held responsible or liable for any delay or failure in performance of its obligations hereunder to the extent such delay or failure is caused by fire, flood, earthquakes, volcanoes, hurricanes, unseasonably extreme inclement weather, strikes, labor disputes, inability to secure sufficient labor, civil, governmental or military authority, government requisitions, restrictions or regulations on travel, facility availability, commodities or supplies, civil disturbance, transportation, acts of God, acts of terrorism or threats of terrorism, , acts of war, accidents, epidemics, disasters, the unavailability of the Venue or any other cause beyond its reasonable control. In any such event, ANZCI may postpone, reschedule or cancel the event without liability on the part of ANZCI. In the event the immersion cannot be held or is postponed pursuant to this section, ANZCI shall not be liable to participants for any damages, costs, or losses incurred, such as transportation costs, accommodations costs, or financial losses.



These terms and conditions govern all supply of goods and services ("products") by Aotearoa New Zealand Constellations Incorporated ("Aotearoa New Zealand Constellations Incorporated", "we, "us") to you, the purchaser of goods and services from us, including your use of the website at www.anzci.nz ("the website"). They are effective from 19th September 2023 and will replace all earlier Aotearoa New Zealand Constellations Incorporated terms of trade and any conditions contained in any document used by you and purporting to have contractual effect.


We reserve the right to change these terms of trade by notice to you. Notice may be given by posting the revised terms and conditions on our website.


To make a purchase from our online shop you must be 18 years of age or over.


Purchases from our online shop may only be made by persons who are acquiring goods or services for their own use or consumption, and you must not acquire goods from us via the website for resupply (whether in trade or otherwise).


If you are purchasing on behalf of another entity such as a company you warrant you have the authorisation to agree to these terms and conditions on behalf of the entity.


Availability and supply All orders are subject to the availability of those products or services. If for any reason a Product is not available, we will endeavour to notify the non-availability on our online shop.


Pricing All prices are in New Zealand Dollars and are inclusive of any Goods and Services Tax ("GST") unless stated to be otherwise but are exclusive of delivery charges. All prices are correct when published. We reserve the right to alter prices at any time.


An invoice will be emailed to you at the email address you supply when you place your order. You are responsible for ensuring that your contact details are correct.

Liability
Limitation
We will always endeavor to have complete and accurate information on our website but to the greatest extent permissible by law we assume no responsibility for the completeness and current accuracy of the information provided on our website.


To the greatest extent permissible by law, we exclude all liability we may have to you for any claim except where we have acted in bad faith. This exclusion also applies for the benefit of every officer, employee, contractor, agent of us and anyone else we use to perform our duties or provide services under any agreement you have with us. None of the persons specified above is liable or has to pay you for anything else in connection with or resulting from anything any of us does or does not do, or delays in doing, whether or not it is contemplated or authorised by any agreement you have with us. This exclusion applies whatever you are claiming for and in whatever way liability might arise. This exclusion does not limit any inalienable rights you may have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.


Our maximum liability to you (if any) shall be limited to the value of any faulty products or services supplied by us and we, our employees, contractors and agents, will not be liable to you for loss or damage of any kind however that loss or damage is caused or arises.


Applicable law and jurisdiction Unless we otherwise agree in writing, this agreement contains all the terms of our relationship and continues to apply no matter where you are located at the time any goods or services are provided to you by us and irrespective of the location where you reside.


Use of our website, supply of products or services by us to you and any other matter arising from these Terms and Conditions are subject to the laws of New Zealand. The Courts of New Zealand shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction over all claims or disputes arising in relation to, out of or in connection with these terms of trade, or with the use of website or supply of any services.


Where you or any other person who you act for, or who you permit to act for you supplies incorrect information for the purchase of a product or service and we incur cost in any matter concerning that name then we may recover the costs incurred by us from you (including legal costs on a solicitor-client basis).


You agree to use our website, products and services in accordance with the applicable laws of the country or countries where your business or organisation is based.


Privacy policy and Confidentiality Unless you opt to receive messages from us we will not contact you again in future. If you have opted to receive ongoing communications and at a later date you no longer wish to receive these communications you will be able to opt out of receiving this information by contacting us by email or by following the unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of emails sent to you.


Opting out of receiving the above mentioned messages will not prevent the sending of messages that specifically relate to your order(s).

If we fail to enforce any terms or to exercise our rights under these terms and conditions at any time, we have not waived those rights.


If any provision of these terms and conditions is held to be invalid or unenforceable for any reason, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect and the parties shall adjust their respective rights and obligations in accordance with the spirit and intent of the parties as shown by these terms and conditions.


Unless any provision in this agreement expressly provides otherwise, these terms and conditions are not intended to confer a benefit on any person or class of person who is not a party to it.


We may deliver notices to you by sending them to an email address that you have notified to us.
